In 1943, in a farm in Kansas, two brothers, Eddy and Johnny Collins, receive their mobilisation letters. On 6 June 1944, one is to land on Omaha Beach, while the other will take Pointe du Hoc with the Rangers.
On D-Day, Eddy, who seems to have been endowed with superhuman strength, urges on his men on Bloody Omaha. Meanwhile, as Johnny and his companions in misfortune face the sheer cliff before Pointe du Hoc, only a few remain to defy the enemy…
